Screenings and Eligibility
Screenings are conducted by qualified personnel who can identify infants and toddlers who may have a developmental delay and are in need of early intervention services. Screenings address five developmental areas: developmental; physical development including health, nutrition, motor, vision and hearing; communication development; social and emotional development; and self-help/adaptive development.
Statewide eligibility criteria for Kansas Infant-Toddler Services/Tiny K have been established by the state for children with developmental delays.
