OCCK’s Disability Culture Series Highlights Lived Experience and Everyday Inclusion

OCCK, Inc. is proud to introduce a new Disability Culture Series—a four-part free educational event designed to highlight the voices, experiences, and insights of people with disabilities. As part of our Technology First Grant initiative, this series is dedicated to increasing awareness, understanding, and practical action toward more inclusive communities.

Each session will be held at OCCK’s main office in Salina, Kansas, with a virtual option via Zoom. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from people with lived experience, explore assistive technology tools, and engage in open, honest discussions around etiquette, equity, and everyday accessibility.

What the Series Covers:

Each event focuses on a different aspect of disability and features real stories, resources, and strategies for fostering inclusion:
