Employment Training in the Community

Forty years of passion around people with developmental disabilities working and living in the community has been the impetus for OCCK to be a statewide leader in employment. This leadership has resulted in people with disabilities experiencing the dignity and respect that comes from working.

When it comes to employment, every individual is unique. Part-time to full-time to self employment or any combination in between, our well-trained staff will assist you with exploring the option that works for you.

We offer as much or as little support you need in the employment arena. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Providing support as problems come up once employment is obtained
  • Referrals to other support services
  • Support with finding and getting a job

Supported Employment

We work with local employers to provide employment-training opportunities for individuals at their business location.

About QCS:

At OCCK, we stress the importance of building community relationships by securing community-based paid job opportunities. In making this important value a reality, OCCK has developed its own business Quality Custodial Systems (QCS). Being a part of a QCS cleaning crew, provides people with the opportunities to learn important life skills, working as a team, and staying on task while earning a paycheck.

QCS cleaning crews provide quality indoor janitorial services and outdoor maintenance in North Central Kansas communities. We have been supporting businesses with their cleaning needs for 30 years. Our staff bring a culmination of 195 years of cleaning experience; providing businesses with on-the-spot general cleaning advice, healthy, safe, and professional cleaning services.

You work on site with experienced staff teaching you skills necessary to be successful on your job!
